Learning about Garden Tools

With this workshop, children will learn all about garden tools - from the history of the very first tools, to the kinds of things they help us with when it comes to growing our own plants and looking after our gardens and green spaces.

Topics and activities will include:

• What garden tools do you know?
• The history of garden tools
• Silly sounding garden tools - real or fake?
• Summer jobs in the garden plus what tools to use
• Workshop activity: Watering can card art

Please note, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
