Once Was Lost can be found in a hidden courtyard between Market Street West and Friargate, behind PLAU. Here you will discover the perfect setting for the summer months, thanks to a spacious outdoor courtyard.  Enjoy a selection of exciting drinks and delicious food and BBQs, on top of cultural events, markets, and live music performances; Once was Lost is a café, bar, lifestyle shop, and wine and beer store. 

The café is perfect for lunch or brunch and serves locally roasted coffee from Blossom Manchester. Their menu is vegetarian friendly and they boast a special children's menu. As a bar, you can expect handcrafted cocktails, craft beers, and natural wines. 

Art and culture

Once Was Lost is a social, creative, and cultural space. They host a range of events including artisan makers markets, Social Sundays, live music, DJ's, workshops, wellness classes, and spoken word. Their outdoor space is perfect for summer events and for enjoying their unique markets, whilst their heated glasshouse and rustic indoor area provide even more unique spaces.
