Kick start your journey into teaching...

Working in partnership with the University of Cumbria, the Preston Teaching School Alliance (TSA) PGCE School Direct Training Programme provides graduates with a direct route into teaching across primary, secondary, and special schools.

In its fifth year, the alliance has a proven track record of providing outstanding teacher training and is incredibly proud of its success to date. They now have over 40 schools working with them, three of which have been designated national teaching schools by the government.

The programme has been designed and delivered by the alliance schools located in the Preston area.

Trained by outstanding teachers within the alliance, trainees make outstanding progress. The increased time in schools and high-quality school-led training, together with the TSA's personal touch, produces outstanding practitioners of the future - with trainees gaining the Postgraduate Certificate of Education with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) award.

For more information including qualification requirements, available subjects, and schools visit Preston Teaching School Alliance.
