Tourist Information

Moor Park

None

Preston's largest open space, which has played host to many of the city's major outdoor exhibitions and events. The recreational facilities in this park are the best in the area: there are 4 bowling greens, space for 4 cricket matches played on artificial wickets, tennis courts, football and baseball pitches. There are also 2 very well equipped children's play areas, and literally miles of scenic pathways to walk or jog around. For those who just wish to enjoy the peace and tranquility, Moor Park provides ornamental gardens, a woodland area and the splendid recently restored Serpentine Lake with areas to feed the large number of wildfowl.
