The famous Preston Guild Hall presents an extensive programme of events in one of the finest entertainment centres in the country. A National Lottery award of over 4 million has added to the Council's financing of a refurbishment scheme which has transformed the building with new seating, carpeting and decoration, a wide range of technical improvements and redesign of public areas.
Throughout the year there is something for everyone, from orchestral and rock concerts and major televised sport - such as snooker and bowls - to theatrical productions of every kind in the Charter Theatre. The Guild Hall also hosts conferences, exhibitions and celebration banquets.
