The Company was founded in 1988 to accommodate a high demand for designer clothing in the North West

The first store opened in Oswaldtwistle, housing a small range of designer labels for women of all ages. As the business grew, the demand for menswear became apparent, and so the store expanded and began to progress into one of the largest male and female designer retail outlets in Lancashire.

Two years later a second shop was opened in Burnley and within one year it proved to be as much a success as the Oswaldtwistle store. Over the next few years three more stores were opened to cater for the high demand in Preston and Blackburn closely followed by Bolton.

Today, Originals have a total of six stores throughout the North West. Accrington, Blackburn, Burnley, Preston, Bolton and Blackpool

In December 1998 Originals Menswear in Blackburn collected the runners up award for the FHM Casual Retailer of the Year.

Originals is in the front line of fashion with each store being kept up to date with regular facelifts and constant flow of new designer labels. With dedicated staff excellent new lines and loyal customers, Originals will always be first for STYLE, QUALITY and SERVICE.
