Farington Lodge, a superb Grade II listed Georgian house set in three acres of mature lawns and gardens, blends lavish period splendour and a fascinating history with the very best contemporary luxury.

Brilliantly located close to the M6, M61 and M65 motorways, it sits in a quiet rural spot with rolling Lancashire countryside beyond making it ideal for conferences, meetings, weddings and a peaceful break not far from the best sightseeing in the Nort West, including the stunning Lake District National Park.

Farington Lodge is extremely comfortable with 9 bedrooms in the original house and 17 opulent executive bedrooms added in 2007. We have a sumptuous four poster and many rooms have views over the three acres of gardens.

The Garden Restaurant, open to non-residents, has a unique and elegant atmosphere with original plaster mouldings on the ceiling, ornate fireplace and hand-painted silk wallpaper reflecting the history of this fine house. The restaurant has a seasonally-changing à la carte menu that blends classical influences with a fresh contemporary twist, with ingredients sourced as close to the hotel as we can.

Enjoy a lazy Sunday afternoon with a traditional three-course lunch for £17.50 per person, and children are always welcome and may choose from our children's menu at £9.75.

Getting married, the hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies. We'll help you put together your wedding menu, evening buffet and choose a drinks package that suits you.

Private dining is available in either the original house or in one of our purpose built dining rooms.

Meeting or conference requirements, Farington Lodge has a package to suit you, with a wide range of conference and meeting rooms, all of wich can be converted to a boardroom-style set up, and we can cater for interviews, training courses, or conference for up to 180 delegates.

Road Directions

From M6 south, M61 & M65:
Take the M6 to Junction 29 or M61 to Junction 9 and the follow signs for M65 Preston South. Continue to the end of M65 then turn left at the large roundabout. Drive 200 metres to the next roundabout and turn left. 0.9 miles to traffic lights. Straight through lights and the entrance to Farington Lodge is 100 metres on the right.

From M6 North:
Leave the M6 at Junction 28. Turn left at bottom of slip road, then take the first right into Bow Brook Lane ( opposite Best Western Hotel). This leads into Bow Lane. Turn left at the T-Junction ( church on the left) into Moss Lane. Turn right at the mini roundabout ( Vauxhall garage on right). Farington Lodge entrance is half a mile on left.

Public Transport Directions

Set close to Leyland, near Preston and just two minutes from the intersection of the M6, M61 and M65, Farington Lodge is easily accessible from all over the north of England.

Manchester Airport is only forty minutes away, and we are only three hours by train from London. the Hotel is within walking distance of Leyland Train Station.
