Lancashire showcases its great food and drink in 2008 in partnership with Liverpool's European Capital of Culture celebrations. Taste Lancashire 08, co-ordinated by Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board, is a year of events, activities and promotions championing accredited eateries, local producers, farmers markets, up and coming chefs and fine foods including cheese, meats and potted shrimps; and drinks ranging from local beers to the non-alcoholic Sarsaparilla.
