Art Exhibition

The exhibition will be held at The Minster Church, Church Street, Preston and admission is free. We hope to have a range of exhibits, which last year included paintings, photography, furniture and metalwork sculpture. We also had a workshop running where visitors could learn to paint with acrylics and poetry readings from a local poet.

The exhibits will come from individual artists as well as hospital occupational therapy departments and community resources such as Aspire in Preston. The exhibitors came from across Lancashire last year making the event the largest exhibition of its kind outside London.
The aim of the exhibition is to attack the stigma associated with mental health and provide an opportunity for public recognition to those who are very often overlooked and excluded by society.
