53 Degrees Stand and Deliver Comedy Club presents Slaughterhouse Live

The Comedy Store’s resident character-cabaret team “Slaughterhouse Live” (that’s “laughterhouse” with an “S”) have sold out the prestigious Lowry theatre numerous times and enjoyed a successful residency at The Comedy Store since July 2003. In 2005 they received the 'Best Comedy Show' Award at the Brighton Fringe Festival and were runners-up in the “Best Touring Show” category at the Manchester Comedy Awards 2004. They have also made their mark at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with acclaimed runs at the Gilded Balloon (2003-2005 inc.) and at the Pleasance Courtyard where they scored a hit in 2006 with their show, TV Spazzatura.
This show is supported by Kevin Hayes who has travelled all over from Melbourne to San Francisco and from Derry to Dubai, telling jokes and gazing longingly at the buildings. A regular broadcaster on Radio 4 he has had rave reviews from ‘A fine comic. Intelligent and incisive yet still amenable ' THE GUARDIAN and 'This man is gold!' THE SCOTSMAN. Also supporting on the night is Susan Hanks; whose approach to sarcasm is a lesson to us all and Jamie Sutherland; a Wigan based scouser who will keep you amused with tales, stories, and all his own teeth.
