A great place - well placed!

When it comes to bringing people together to do business Preston is the place - not least because it is so incredibly well placed!

All the venues in this guide can be found within 10 minutes or so of leaving the M6 motorway. Preston is also a principal station on the west coast main line between London and Glasgow and is easily accessible from major airports such as Manchester and Liverpool. Whether travelling from around the globe, the UK or within the North West region, Preston is remarkably easy to reach. In addition, the rapidly expanding Blackpool International Airport is just a 25 minute drive away and now receiving flights from a number of European cities with new routes being added all the time.

Preston is home to the 5th largest and fastest growing university in the whole of the country, bringing innovation, new technologies and new skills to the city and it surrounding areas all the time. The 30,000 plus students also contribute to the vibrant nightlife the city offers when the working day has ended. There is a vibrant and eclectic mix of bars and restaurants, pubs and clubs alongside theatre and activity based entertainments.
