Riverside Barn in Ribchester is set in an exquisite part of Lancashire, the Ribble Valley. We are just 15 minutes drive from both Preston and Blackburn but we're a world away. Riverside barn sits in an enviable picture postcard setting on the banks of the River Ribble, in the historic village of Ribchester. The village is blessed with both cosy pubs and quality restaurants, all within a short riverside stroll of the guest house.

The property dates back to 1875 and has been carefully converted, offering stylish, ground floor accommodation with excellent access for guests with limited mobility and wheel chair users

We have 2 luxury ground floor rooms with their own entrances...

THE HOTHERSALL SUITE consists of a king size mahogany four poster bed and ensuite limestone bathroom with doubole ended roll-top bath.

THE RIBBLE SUITE consists of a brass double bed and canopy and a single brass bed. The en-suite comprises of a luxury limestone wetroom/ shower room. The room also has patio doors leading on to a private deck with garden and river views.

We also have two free day passes for fishing on the River Ribble at Ribchester and secure storage for equipment, cycles etc. We welcome families with children of any age and have toys available for them. We also welcome well-behaved pets, although a small additional cleaning charge may be made.

For our guests comfort we are exclusively non-smoking.

Road Directions

M6 J31, follow signs A59 Clitheroe. Turn left , follow B6245 over the river and right into the village centre. At T-junction turn left, pass Spar shop and then the White Bull pub, pass the school, follow road as it follows the river. About 30m past Church and Museum you will drop into a Farmyard. Riverside Barn is the first house on your left.
