Claremont Guest House

The Claremont Guest House is a friendly privately owned guest house run under the personal supervision of the proprietors Carla and Tony Sumner, who endeavour to make their guests' stay an enjoyable one.

Set in beautiful gardens with ample car parking, the hotel is just minutes away from the town centre and main railway station and is within easy reach of the M6 motorway. Its good road and rail links make it an ideal base to visit Blackpool, the Fylde Coast, or the beautiful Lake District.

The bar has a fine selection of wines, spirits, and local beers. Its informal atmosphere makes it an ideal place for a relaxing drink. Whatever you require, we should be able to accommodate you in one of our 15 bedrooms. All rooms have a colour TV, clock radio, alarms, direct dial telephones and tea and coffee making facilities. One ground floor suite available.

The tastefully appointed restaurant is open to non-residents and offers a full a la carte menu with an extensive choice of dishes including vegetarian meals. The restaurant may also be hired for private dinner parties or small buffets for up to 40 people.

The function room is totally self-contained having a separate entrance, its own bar and dance floor. It is ideal for wedding receptions, banquets and night-time discos with buffet meals. It is licensed for up to 100 people.

On a business theme the room is available for conferences and seminars. In fact for any type of function. The Claremont Hotel is a truly multi-purpose venue.
