Preston's International Film Festival 2019

Enjoy six days of international film...

The Worldwise Learning Centre at the University of Central Lancashire proudly presents Preston's International Film Festival 2019!

Join them from 14 - 20 October in the Mitchell and Kenyon Cinema to enjoy a choice of nine different films.

This year, the Worldwise Learning Centre is proud to be celebrating its tenth anniversary and on Monday 14 October the International Film Festival 2019 will open with a special event packed full of activities. The evening will start at 5pm with a talk on the politics of reconciliation by Darius Rahimi, the Deputy Head of the Political Department for the German Embassy, as well as talks from other esteemed guests. The talks will be followed by an opportunity to network and sample some traditional French and German nibbles and wine before the screening of the French/German film ‘Frantz’; a film set in post World War I with themes that are highly relevant in today’s divided world. Entrance to the event and film screening on Mon 14 Oct is free!

The festival is open to all students, staff and members of the public to enjoy. Plus, why not get your hands on the "Festival Pass" which gives you access to all nine films for the price of £15, saving up to £9 per person!

Car parking is available - all UCLan car parks are free after 5pm. To see the Campus Map for car park locations visit UCLan - Preston City Campus.
