Over 12,000 people enjoyed the festival in 2011 and this year we aim to make the event even bigger! It will all start with the grand parade through Leyland on the Saturday and entertainment is planned to include craft and community stalls, 'Paws in the Park' fun dog show, classic vehicle displays, the Leyland Showtrekker, local pop/folk/indie bands and much more.
The festival is supported by a wide range of local businesses, voluntary and community organisations providing a weekend of events and activities that will offer something for everyone in a safe, family-friendly environment.
More activities will be on offer at South Ribble Museum and the British Commercial Vehicle Museum, both of which will have special opening hours over the festival weekend.
Please look out for details nearer the time or email festival@southribble.gov.uk if you would like to get involved.
Park entry will be £5 per person TBC (£3 in advance), 16 years and under free. Certain activities will have an additional charge. Please see www.visitleyland.co.uk for details.
