Housed in one of Preston's finest 19th-Century Listed Buildings are the museum and chapel of the Queen's Lancashire Regiment. The extensive collection, archive and library contain artifacts, documents and books relating to the 30th, 40th, 47th, 59th, 81st and 82nd Regiments of Foot, the East Lancashire Regiment, the South Lancashire regiment and the Loyal North Lancashire regiment as well as Militia, Rifle Volunteers, Territorial and Home Guard. It is the largest military heritage collection in the North West.
