There is so much to do in the local area - it is the perfect location for walking, cycling, golfing, fishing and many other outdoor activities. GREEN STATEMENT: 'To recycle and use recycled goods is only a part of our conservation plan. In order to help us achieve this,we ask our guests to make use of the recycling facilities we have provided. We also recommend nearby businesses were locally produced products are grown or made and can be purchased. The Garden surrounding the cottage contains a wildlife pond and there are various bird nesting boxes within the garden. We also have a variety of fresh produce for the use of our guests growing here as well. All the garden and organic waste is recycled by composting and the garden is watered using recycled rainwater from butts situated around the premises.'
From Inglewhite village green take Button Street, signposted to Beacon Fell. After 0.25 miles turn left onto Fairhurst Lane (by ruined barn). Cottage is first property on the right-hand side.
Trains into Preston. Buses come into Preston at Garstang. We are prepared to pick walkers and cyclists up.
